“As advances in technology continues, even small businesses will be able to take advantage of real-time accounting services. Major banks currently are offering transactional information that can be easily downloaded into the accounting software. The value of the future CPA (ultimately the accounting profession) will be in the ability of the accountant to comprehend the full business cycle and be the ‘go-to’ person for solutions to the daily challenges faced by small businesses.”
